Last week, I got a message from the first person I ever placed in a permanent role over 10 years ago.
I’m paraphrasing, somewhat drastically, but it essentially read “I’ve got a role to fill. Help me.”
Fast forward a few days and I’m sat here writing about an amazing opportunity for a Human Resources System Management Lead to join a global client and get the opportunity to work with someone who I know from experience is bloody incredible at what they do and a lovely human being to boot.
The business I’m working with is a HUGE brand, recognised internationally for all the right reasons. This particular role sits within their UK shared service centre and whilst yours won’t be a global remit, with tens of thousands of employees in the UK, it might just feel like it.
They’re in need of an experienced HRMS specialist to join them and take on leadership of a small HR Systems Team. The role will see you afforded lots of autonomy to use your experience to make sure that the development and deployment of my clients HR Systems strategy runs as seamlessly as possible.
Yes, you’ll know all about HR systems but you’ll need to be just as motivated to provide direction, guidance and development for your people so experience in a lead/ management role is really a must if you’re looking to apply.
The HR System that has been implemented is Oracle and having gone live on the cloud relatively recently there’s plenty of opportunity to ensure that my client are realising a return on their investment whilst working with the latest cloud based technology.
So, what’s on offer?
A lot, actually.
My client operate a hybrid working model that will see you based on their site in Buckinghamshire 2-3 days per week but with a line manager who is very much aware her people have lives outside the office there is additional flexibility to work remotely provided where necessary.
The salary range sits at £70-80,000 DOE with a bonus of 12-15% (which has actually been paid out even through the darkest days of the pandemic), private healthcare, a healthy car allowance and an enhanced pension contribution. My client are also big believers in looking after the mental wellbeing of their people and have a comprehensive support system in place for their employees and families.
Beyond the package on offer there are progression and professional development opportunities galore with investment in leadership training as well as opportunities to move into different areas of the business.
If you don’t have Oracle HR Systems experience but have worked with the likes of SAP in a global business then please don’t be put off applying. That being said, there’s a link for you to do just that in this ad. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Please note that Global Tech Collective is committed to providing the best candidate experience and that every applicant will receive a response.
