Job Description

Overly Technical adverts tend to make me a bit sad.

They usually involve lists, acronyms, sentences I don’t understand because I’ve copied them from a job description 🙈

So on this occasion I’m going to make this advert for a Systems and Data Integrations Specialist as non technical as I can.

I’ll start with the business.

I’m working with a key player in the supply chain solutions space who after decades of success in their country of origin are now setting up shop in the UK with a view to expand into parts of Europe and North America.

Ever fancied working for a start-up company where you can use your skills to make maximum impact but haven’t yet taken the leap? Well, this could be a great fit. These guys are all start up culture but backed by a parent company that are fully committed to investing in this area of the business to make it a huge success.

The journey has already begun with a Head of Technology now in situ and looking to build their team.

You’ll have the freedom to work remotely save for the odd trip to London offices (we’re talking once per month if that) and for this particular role my client are looking for someone with the experience to be left to work with minimal supervision meaning you can use your skills to make a difference without anyone remotely breathing down your neck.

The role itself is all about taking ownership of systems integrations across the current tech stack of the business, implementing and developing a methodology for these integrations and then working to streamline processes. If you’re a stickler for process like me, there’s nothing better than creating your own.

You’ll be working with stakeholders from businesses that are joining my clients leading platform as well as carriers so experience in both customer and carrier integrations would be ideal but not necessarily essential.

The primary focus for the hiring manager is that you can use your skills to work with clients to capture and understand integration requirements, create briefing documents for the development team and manage the entire integrations piece from implementation to delivery and then support.

There. I think I did a good pretty good job. Sound like a fit?

You’ll have questions. I’ve got answers. Hit the link in this advert if you’d like to learn more.

Please note that Global Tech Collective is committed to providing the best candidate experience and that every candidate will receive a response.
