There is a HUGE demand for SAP specialist skills at the moment and no where is this more evident than in the wonderful world of consulting.
There’s more flexibility being offered than ever before. More budget, it seems, and most definitely more effort being made by organisations to get your attention.
About bloody time.
The stereotypical view the majority of us once held about the consulting lifestyle has definitely changed and for most companies, or those that want you working with them anyway, expectations to spend weeks away from home, living out of a suitcase and being asked to travel at a moment’s notice are now a thing of the past.
I’m working with an SAP Gold Partner consultancy that even pre pandemic had the right approach to giving their people a positive work life balance. Over the last 2 years it’s got even better with employees given the option to work completely remotely (your contracted place of work is your actual home address) with only the occasional request to visit their offices or go to client sites (all expenses covered).
This organisation are THE go to specialists in their field and they’re looking to speak with an experienced SAP APO/IBP specialist about a brand new role in the business.
Everyone I’ve placed with this client to date has shared glowing feedback from the initial interview (the whole process is conducted entirely over MS teams) through to onboarding and beyond. Looking at the content shared by the teams online there’s a real sense of pride coming from the entire workforce. These guys are really working to innovate the SAP space.
Given the flexibility around ways of working you’ll be able to apply regardless of where you’re based in the UK (although you must be UK based) and this could be perfect for someone from a consulting background who is looking for a better work life balance with less travel or for those who have a solid background working in industry but have an appetite to move into consulting, in addition to some established customer facing and stakeholder engagement skills.
If you’re a SAP APO/ IBP Specialist and would like to learn more about a business with a client base boasting some of the most exciting international brands and a shiny new opportunity to make a real impact then I’d love to hear from you.
