Before I kick off I’m going to level with you.
You may have guessed this already but…I am not an Infrastructure Engineer. Wow, it feels good to say that out loud.
Seeing as I’m not an Infrastructure Engineer I’m not going to write this advert like I know ANYTHING about the technical aspects of this role.
I know the clients stack, know what technology you’ll be working with/ gaining exposure to and what you’ll need to succeed in the position, but other than that, when/if we speak, imagine you’re having a conversation with a grandparent (albeit a really cool one).
Let’s get the technical bit out of the way first.
There are 3 (yep just 3) fundamental skills you’ll need to succeed in this role
1; Kubernetes experience
2; Experience with CI/CD pipelines
3; Exposure to working with AWS and/ or another cloud based platform
If you haven’t got the above, unfortunately it’s highly unlikely you’ll get the opportunity to gain exposure to the rest of my clients tech stack below* so if the skills listed don’t sound like you this is likely not the right role.
What I lack in technical experience I more than make up for in speaking about company culture (yeah it’s not a great talent I know) so if you’d like to work for a business where it’s not just the recruitment team that talk about candidate experience, where your direct manager is actively talking about the wide range of opportunities available for you to develop professionally and where your expertise will make a BIG impact on the shape of this company moving forward, we should talk.
If you’ve got any sort of interest in working for a brand that is playing a fundamental part in the move to a circular economy and one that is committed to building a business that is kinder to the planet then this will be right up your street.
My client have offices globally but for this position you’ll have options to work 100% remote or full time in a London office depending on what suits you. That being said you must be UK based and unfortunately on this occasion my client aren’t available to provide sponsorship.
The package is incredibly attractive. With a base salary of £105-110,000, bonus of 10%, one of the most comprehensive lists of benefits I’ve ever seen offered by a tech client AND share options that that would make your hair stand on end (in a good way) this has to be worth exploring.

Please note that Global Tech Collective is committed to providing the best candidate experience and that every applicant will receive a response.
