I’ve been contacted by a business who need some support with their search for an SAP Technical Architect.

 

I’m a recruiter and they’re a client so of course I instantly said yes and then they hit me with this little nugget.

 

This particular Technical Architect needs EWM experience.

 

After I finished laughing I jumped straight onto my laptop to write this advert.

 

It’s not that they’re a bad client, I wouldn’t be working with them otherwise but if you know anything about EWM you’ll also know it’s a pain in the proverbial to find good people.

 

Instead of changing elements of the job description I’ve received and creating some boring arse advert that no one will read (all very useful if you want me to send it to you but useless if you know very little about EWM…that’s me) I’m going to share a selection of texts from people I’ve placed with this client previously.

 

“Am I enjoying it? I am LOVING IT”

 

“The people are great, the work is great, even the customers are great”

 

“I owe you so many beers I can’t count them John”

 

“I figured that there was something right about the opportunity and it’s turning out damn near perfect”

 

“I am still loving life here almost a year in now”

 

“I must owe you 20 beers when we can eventually get to the same bit of the UK again”

 

Mentions of beer aside, I think you’ll agree that’s pretty positive across the board.

As you’ve just seen, everyone I’ve placed with this client to date has shared glowing feedback from the initial interview (the whole process is conducted entirely over MS teams) through to onboarding and beyond. Looking at the content shared by the teams online there’s a real sense of pride coming from the entire workforce. These guys are really working to innovate the SAP space.

 

Given the flexibility around ways of working you’ll be able to apply regardless of where you’re based but must be happy to work in the UK. This could be perfect for someone from a consulting background who is looking for a better work life balance with less travel or for those who have a solid background working in industry but have an appetite to move into consulting.
