Don’t tell anyone I said this, but the world of SAP consulting needs a shake up.

The old way of doing things is stale, boring and from what I hear in most cases not even in the best interest of the customer.

What the space needs is a disruptor. An outfit willing to stick 2 fingers up to the status quo, put their clients needs before their own and have (and I don’t use this word lightly) FUN while they’re doing it.

By this point, you might be nodding. If that’s the case it’s definitely worth you reading on. If you’re not sold just yet, then give me one more minute of your time.

There are plenty of SAP consulting organisations out there claiming to do things differently. I’m working with one that actually does. They’re on the lookout for an SAP Finance Functional Architect to join them on a permanent basis, work with their incredible array of clients and play an integral role in some seriously impressive growth plans.

Now I’m going to be straight with you. To be a fit for this role you’re going to need consulting experience. You’ll also need to have had prior experience architecting SAP Finance solutions for S/4 HANA programmes. I don’t think that’ll come as much of a surprise but it’s worth saying.

Beyond that my client is looking for people that genuinely care about providing the best possible service to their customers. People who are potentially fed up with working within the constraints you might find in other consulting organisations. People that want to work in a supportive environment where you’re treated as part of a team but simultaneously given autonomy to work in a way that suits you.

There’s plenty of flexibility to work remotely and if you’re in or around the Northwest you may even want to make use of my clients HQ on a more regular basis, but this role is very much open to anyone based in the UK.

In addition to a base salary of £90-100,000 and a range of benefits on offer there’s also an attractive share scheme meaning that beyond your standard compensation you’ll be directly rewarded for the contribution you make to the business.

It’s a 2-stage interview process (both of which can be completed virtually) and whilst the business is ready for someone to join now and support them with a pipeline of work that just keeps on growing they’re willing to wait for the right person to join.
