I'm working with an early stage AI startup looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with customers, helping them unlock value from the platform while shaping the product along the way.

This is a role for someone who enjoys variety. You'll spend time understanding customer challenges, designing solutions, building integrations, deploying features, and feeding real world insight back into the product team.

What you'll be doing:

• Working directly with customers to understand requirements and solve technical challenges

• Building integrations, automations, and bespoke solutions

• Developing new product features and MVPs where needed

• Working across APIs, AI tooling, and third party systems

• Acting as the bridge between customers and engineering

• Helping shape the product through direct exposure to user problems

What you’ll need to apply:

• Strong software engineering fundamentals

• Solid Python experience

• Comfort working across the stack (React, TypeScript, and Node.js are all useful)

• Experience building AI-enabled products, LLM applications, or automation workflows

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with customers

• A desire to work where you’ll be have ownership, autonomy, and figuring things out

This role is based in New York with hybrid working on offer but you'll need to be comfortable spending time with customers when required. The base salary ranges from $120,000-£270,000 depending on experience.

Infrastructure Project Managers are a funny one.

Some are very process and governance focused but struggle to challenge technical delivery. Others are highly technical but don’t necessarily bring the structure needed to keep a programme moving.

This role needs someone who can comfortably sit in the middle.

My client is going through a major DX transformation, including a wider D365 programme, and needs an Infrastructure Project Manager to help keep the surrounding infrastructure projects moving while the wider team focuses on getting the transformation over the line.

So whilst the D365 programme provides the backdrop, this role is less about direct ERP delivery and more about making sure the infrastructure side of the house stays organised, aligned, and progressing properly.

You’ll be leading a small infrastructure-focused project team, overseeing a mixture of operational and infrastructure workstreams including:

• Server builds supporting the wider transformation

• Cyber Essentials-related activity

• Infrastructure readiness across multiple areas

• Keeping milestones, risks, dependencies, and suppliers under control

This isn’t a hands-on engineering role, but you will need enough infrastructure understanding to challenge, sense check, and keep delivery moving in the right direction.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading infrastructure-related projects and workstreams within the wider transformation landscape

• Managing a small team, including 3 direct reports

• Coordinating activity across Azure, networking, endpoint management, and telephony

• Managing timelines, milestones, dependencies, and delivery risks

• Working closely with stakeholders, suppliers, and internal technical teams

• Helping ensure the business remains operationally ready throughout the transformation period

What they need:

• Strong Infrastructure Project Management experience

• Good understanding of core infrastructure environments including Azure, networking, endpoint management, and telephony

• Someone comfortable operating in fast-moving environments with multiple moving parts

• Strong stakeholder management and organisational skills

• Ability to keep technical teams aligned and delivery on track

This is an initial 6-month contract paying £600-650 per day plus expenses and sits outside IR35.

Most Heads of IT Service Delivery roles are really just “keep the lights on and attend meetings” jobs dressed up with a longer title.

This one’s a bit different.

My client needs someone to become the operational face of IT across the business. Someone who can take ownership of service delivery, build trust with stakeholders, and bring a bit more structure and accountability into the support function.

This is a role in a multi-site environment and you’ll be leading both the Service Desk and Regional Engineering teams, with two direct reports sitting underneath you.

There’s a decent team already in place. What they need now is someone who can step in, provide leadership, improve visibility across IT operations, and help ensure the business feels supported by IT rather than frustrated by it.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading the IT Service Delivery function across support desk and regional engineering teams
• Acting as the go-to IT contact for the wider business
• Managing operational performance, SLAs, KPIs, and service improvements
• Supporting resource planning and workload management across teams
• Leading major incident management and service governance activities
• Working closely with suppliers and third parties to ensure service standards are met

What you’ll need to apply

• Strong experience leading IT Service Delivery or Support functions
• Experience managing Service Desk and/or Field Engineering teams
• Someone commercially aware who can operate confidently with stakeholders across the business
• Good understanding of ITIL and service management best practice
• Comfortable operating in fast-moving, multi-site environments
• Someone proactive who’s happy taking ownership rather than waiting to be asked

This is an initial 6 month contract paying £600-650 OUTSIDE IR35 plus expenses.
