Job Description

There are Learning roles where you’re handed a training plan and asked to deliver it.

This isn’t one of them.

We’re working with a growing Change, Adoption & Learning team looking for a Senior Learning Consultant who wants to play a genuine part in how people experience major technology transformation.

A major ERP transformation can have the best technology, processes and project plan in the world. If people aren’t properly equipped to work differently when it goes live, you’ve got a fairly expensive problem on your hands. Obviously, I’m preaching to the choir.

If you’re working with clients on large-scale transformation programmes, taking learning from the early stages of Training Needs Analysis right through to curriculum design, content creation, delivery and measuring whether any of it actually worked, this is going to be right up your street.

This is consultancy in its truest sense.

That means sitting with stakeholders, understanding what their people genuinely need, challenging assumptions where necessary and helping clients make sensible decisions about how learning and adoption should work across their programme.

This isn’t just writing training material. You’ll be a doing bit of everything across the learning lifecycle.

You might be running a Training Needs Analysis on one project, designing a blended learning curriculum on another, working with SMEs to turn complex processes into something people can actually use, or advising a client on why their original training approach probably needs a rethink.

You’ll also:

  • Design accessible, engaging learning experiences across different formats

  • Work closely with stakeholders, SMEs and project teams

  • Facilitate sessions and support learning delivery

  • Manage learning risks, dependencies and competing priorities

  • Quality-assure learning materials and deliverables

  • Help evolve the tools, templates and approaches used across the wider team

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years’ experience delivering learning or training within ERP or enterprise technology transformation.

  • Dynamics 365 experience would be great, but it’s absolutely not a deal-breaker. If your background is in SAP, Oracle, Workday, IFS or another major enterprise platform, we’d still like to hear from you.

  • Experience with Articulate, Camtasia or Lemon Learning would be useful.

  • TAP or Microsoft Certified Trainer qualifications are a bonus

  • Spanish, French or German language skills are a bonus too but definitely not essential

More important is that you understand what learning looks like in a complex transformation environment.

You’ll know your way around Training Needs Analysis, curriculum design and blended learning, but you’ll also be comfortable having conversations with senior stakeholders, asking good questions and occasionally saying:

“I’m not sure that’s the best way to do this.”

Nicely…obviously.

There’s a base salary of £55-65,000 on offer plus bonus and the role affords lots of flexibility to work remotely in the UK provided you can get down to the London HQ once in a while
