I’m on the lookout for an experienced SAP Basis Administrator to help look after my client’s existing ECC estate while they move to S/4HANA.

Essentially...keep the lights on, keep things stable and make sure nobody has any unwanted excitement from the system that's still running the business.

You'll be responsible for the day-to-day technical administration of a big SAP ECC 6.0 environment, covering system monitoring, performance, transports, patching and support packs, alongside user and role management across ECC and SRM.

What you’ll need:

• Strong hands on SAP Basis experience within ECC 6.0 environments

• Experience with SAP Solution Manager, transport management, performance monitoring and working within structured BAU / ITSM support environments.

• Experience supporting SRM would be useful, while any exposure to S/4HANA administration or supporting ECC alongside an inflight S/4HANA migration would be a definite bonus.

This is an initial 6 month contract running from the end of August through to February, outside IR35 and primarily remote (expenses covered for any travel)
