Job Description
A lot of transformation programmes make the same mistake.
They gather a load of requirements, throw them over the fence to an SI, and then act surprised when everyone spends the next 12 months arguing about what was actually meant.
This role exists to stop that happening.
My client is looking for an experienced SuccessFactors SME to support a critical phase of a wider transformation programme. The focus is on validating requirements, challenging assumptions, and helping the business understand where SuccessFactors aligns to their needs and where it doesn't.
You'll be working closely with HR stakeholders, reviewing requirements already gathered, assessing them against standard SuccessFactors capabilities, and helping establish a clear, agreed scope before delivery progresses.
What you'll be doing:
- Reviewing existing HR requirements and assessing them against SuccessFactors capabilities
- Identifying gaps, assumptions, and areas requiring clarification
- Working closely with HR stakeholders to agree future-state processes and requirements
- Supporting and challenging the SI's interpretation of requirements where necessary
- Producing clear outputs around scope, decisions, impacts, and future-state operating models
- Helping establish a solid foundation for the next phase of the programme
What you'll need to apply:
- Strong SuccessFactors functional and solution knowledge
- Experience operating at SME, Lead Consultant, or Architect level
- Ability to engage credibly with HR and business stakeholders
- Experience supporting discovery, assessment, blueprint, or Phase Zero activities
- Someone comfortable providing challenge and independent recommendations
This is a contract running from June through to October and equates to approximately 20 days of work across the engagement so if you're someone already consulting or working across multiple assignments then this is a great fit. £650-700 per day outside IR35.
